BlindSpot is an independent think tank with a unique approach to solving intractable problems, that I call blindspotting. You’re blindspotting when you look for what keeps getting overlooked rather than the same answers that keep getting repeated. Blindspotting helps us to think differently about problems that are caused and allowed to continue by the same thinking. Blindspotting is handy for any tricky problems in life or work but I mostly tackle the complex global challenges that must all be urgently resolved for civilisation to continue.
BlindSpot provides research, talks, training and advice on fast large-scale change for business, government and NGOs internationally. My most ambitious work is the world’s first non-reductionist method for planet-scale transformation, led by Planet Levers Lab. My Climate Rescue Centre develops the breakthrough policy and practice needed to reverse climate change. The vision of a circular economy, that doesn’t need to make waste, is available with the ‘circular economics’ in my Circular Economy #4Real project. My Blindspotting project support habits of thinking able to solve problems at source.
